Cambria County Mobile Crisis Services provide immediate support to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis or behavioral health emergency. Our goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals living with mental illness through the coordination of supportive services for those seeking aid and intervention.

Mobile Crisis services focus on immediate stabilization, reducing risk, and ensuring continuity of care, while promoting long-term recovery and addressing the root causes of mental health crises. We work to stabilize the individual in their current environment by reducing the need for inpatient care or emergency services. We conduct a comprehensive assessment to evaluate the individual’s mental health status and determine the most appropriate course of action.

Mobile Crisis services focus on immediate stabilization, reducing risk, and ensuring continuity of care, while promoting long-term recovery and addressing the root causes of mental health crises.

What happens when you get connected with Mobile Crisis?

Here is what you can expect when being connected with Mobile Crisis.

  • Step 1 of 3: Calls are immediately answered by a Mobile Crisis Coordinator. Calls are triaged by the severity level of the crisis.

  • Step 2 of 3: If you are in clear and present danger to yourself or others, the Mobile Crisis Coordinator will dispatch a Mobile Crisis Worker to the location of the individual.

  • Step 3 of 3: An assessment will be conducted at the time of mobile interaction to determine if the individual meets criteria for a psychiatric evaluation.

There is never a cost for any Crisis services.
